Vincent Kaayan and his lover, Aestus Tsunamaki, sharing an intimate moment together beneath the waves. He's just kinda nuzzling her In affection. There's no goal for them right there, nothing really on their mind, they're not thinking of doing anything, sometimes a moment just comes along where nothing in the world matters to either of them, except each other. And this is one of those moments.

Well...after starting on this three years ago or so, going inactive, and returning and spending roughly two to three weeks on it...I think this is finally ready to be seen by the world. I won't lie, I'm nervous about this one, because I want this to be among my better works, and I want it to be viewed as such. And I want the reactions of people to look at it to be...like...wow!

I spent a LOT of time on this piece, and after some fallout with a community which shall remain nameless, I was beginning to have a lot of doubts on my overall skill and whatnot. I like to think this as a big improvement to my latest pieces, and I hope to only keep improving. I hope to maybe even come back to this piece now and then and touch it up a bit.

I may wanna touch up the hands a bit. While the're purposefully not completely holding each other's hands on purpose (the palms are apart), the wrists and fingers I'm unsure if they're looking the best. I may also one day attempt to add Aestus's pendant here, and Vince's goggles. Maybe.

Before I forget, that little poem up above is a modification of the song "Deeper Still" by Scott Krippayne. I just modified it so it didn't sound so...Christian-y.  I have nothing against the song, I mean I myself am Christian, but the piece isn't meant to really be a religious piece.  Just an intimate one. So I made it a bit more fitting...

I however do plan in the very near future to experiment with an artistic nudity version of this. It was originally meant to be artistic nude before the idea kinda got...shot down? But I plan to make that soon, because truthfully, it's just something I'd like to attempt at least once. Nothing dirty, just...intimate. These are two characters I hold rather close to my heart, and I'd rather not draw them doing...the naughty....but that's for another day I guess.

I really hope to get some good reception here. This is one that's taken a LOT out of me recently. Stiff necks and whatnot. But yeah...hope you like this. And if you wanna know more about these two, read their story.

Breathing Underwater (Prologue)
Vincent was completely uncomfortable.  His head throbbed in pain, there was slight discomfort in his chest, and he felt numerous small cuts and bruises all along his body.  He could also feel the waves of an ocean washing against his side.  The salt in the water met some of the cuts in his side.  Introduced to the wounds, the salt gave his body an unpleasant sting, and as he regained consciousness, he gave a sharp inhale of pain.  Breathing wasn't right.  There was something in his lungs.  It felt like some of the salt was in his lungs...as if he'd fallen into this ocean perhaps.  He was soaking wet.  He could feel it.  Breathing hurt.  The salt coated his lungs in places, and he felt as if there was a small amount of liquid just introduced to them.  Feeling this, he rolled to his side and coughed sharply as his body tried to get rid of the liquid now in his lungs.  
"It's about time you're awake!" a voice said.  From the sound of it, it sounded young and was female.  And though to nor
