..."Vince..." she said, as they drifted on the surface of the water. "You know what tomorrow is, right?"

Vince sighed, "Yeah...the night we first met...the night you are busy..." He said it almost in playful sadness, but part of him was still a little torn that it was one of the few days that he and Aestus didn't really see each other. She had told him that the night was a very special night for her and her sisters, and Vince could understand why it could be one for them only.

Aestus looked at him and nodded, "And I was-"

Vince didn't let her finish. "Tsuna...don't worry...I'll be okay...it's just a day, isn't it?"

Aestus looked into him and said, "Vince, let me finish...I actually want you to join me this year."

"Huh?" Vincent asked, curious? This year he was wanted there? He smiled and asked, "Gratia and Junius put you up to this? We've been together almost four years, and this night has always been very special for you three...I can last a day without-"

"Vince...I was waiting for the time when I was ready to tell you what the night is even for...I feel like I'm ready...because I realize...soon you and I will be family...and..."

Vince looked into her eyes and said, "Start from the beginning. What's so special about tomorrow?"

She looked into his eyes and said, "Tomorrow is the night each year that my sisters and I remember our father. It's a night of remembrance, and...family."

Vince could understand slightly why she wanted him there then, but... "Tsuna...I never knew your father...I mean...are you sure you would wan me there? I feel like...I feel like I'd just be intruding, really, I mean do your sisters-"

"They don't know yet, but if I know my sisters, they only ask why I didn't bring you sooner. I know you didn't know my father, Vince...but I'd like you to come tomorrow night...please?"

Vince smiled and embraced her. "I can't say no to you, Tsuna...I'll be there..."

Aestus nuzzled into his chest, and said, "Thank you...it means a lot..."

Vincent kissed her head and then said, "Until then...what do you wanna do for now?"

Aestus smiled and said, "Take a deep breath..."

Vince smiled and did as he was told, as she grabbed his hand and pulled him under with her...

Here's another art piece for you all! I am not sure how long this took me, but after I saw this really cool and beautiful art piece featuring Ariel and Eric, I had to do a similar drawing with Vince and Aestus, especially since it's been so long since I last did anything with them.

The above passage comes from my first chapter, and it's a relatively simple chapter, but one of my favorite moments between them to be honest. Just a normal meeting.

This digital painting...there's over 50 layers here. I really wanted the detail to show here and I believe in many ways, it has. And I am proud it has. This took a few days and in some ways I wish it looked better, but I believe it looks good for what it is. Hope you all think the same.
